Stars - Billy Crystal (Current); Passions (#88)
Fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles...and yes, even kissing. This movie has everything, and it does it perfectly. The witty dialogue has turned it into one of the most quoted movies of all time (no "Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya" in the best quotes category? Come on, AFI!). The casting is brilliant. It's clean enough for all but the youngest children to watch (which makes it really popular with youth groups). There's enough action for boys to like it and enough romance for the girls. I can't think of a single thing that's wrong with this movie. This one leaves them all behind.
