Stars - Greta Garbo (#5); Joan Crawford (#10); Quotes - "I want to be alone" (#30)
Garbo's acting is over the top, but John Barrymore is dashing and Crawford is absolutely charming in this movie about the goings-on at Germany's finest hotel. It's several intertwining stories - some sweet, some melodramatic - but they combine to make an entertaining movie.
