The great thing about Hitchcock films is that the thing in the movie that terrorizes us is scary because it could actually happen. Who hasn't thought twice about hotel showers since seeing Psycho? Or wondered about crop dusters chasing them down like in North by Northwest? Being attacked by a ginormous flock of birds? Not likely, but come now - when you see them all flying overhead, or gathering on a telephone wire, what comes to mind?
