It truly is a shame that Disney won't release Song of the South on DVD. The Brer Rabbit stories are delightful, and Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah is a classic. I wonder what children think when they ride Splash Mountain at Disney World and have no idea where the story comes from.
Please, Disney, let us see this movie again. Update it if you think you must, but don't keep Brer Rabbit from us.

the naacp said it was okay to release it, so i don't see what the problem is. have they not seen the siamese cat in 'aristocats'? get over it people.
