Laughs (#29)
Before there was The Office, there was Spinal Tap, Rob Reiner's mockumentary about a fictional heavy metal band. It's different, quirky, and yes, funny. Michael McKean (Lenny from Laverne & Shirley) and Christopher Guest (The Princess Bride's six-fingered man) star and are great as tripped-out rockers.
Reiner took a chance on this unique movie, and it paid off.
