Here's what happens when you take a potentially sweet plot outline, some fairly decent characters, and give them to a bunch of sophomoric men. I really think if this had been written and directed by women it could have been a likeable romantic comedy. Instead, it was, sadly, a waste.

i didn't want to see it either, and was surprised that it actually could have potentially been likeable.
but it wasn't, so you haven't missed anything.
