There isn't a whole lot to this movie - a show girl at a small time club becomes a famous cover girl, leaving her past life (and love) behind. Predictable but sweet.
And of course, it has the great Gene Kelly. Doo lang, doo lang, doo lang.

2. i found myself being jealous of miss piggy getting to sing with and just be that close and admire gene kelly. and then i remembered she's a muppet.
3. him walking off like that is kind of sad like something they would show when he died.
